Replacement Royal Worcester China - Astley (Dr Walls Period)
'Astley' was first introduced in c.1751 by Dr John Wall, who was one of the founders of what we now recognise as the manufacturer Royal Worcester. At this time oriental designs were very popular and had heavy influence on the first 'Astley' design. In 1944 'Astley' was re-introduced to production and was known as the 'Dr Walls Period'.
